I am continuing to look for opportunities to connect with like-minded professionals and create a professional network in the Twin Cities. Because my services are niche, I have the potential to teach and train businesses on the benefits of foreign sponsorship. I am looking to first work on building a network. Thank you in advance for opening the doors and if anyone can create networking opportunities please let me know.

Online Yard Sale Coming Up
It's time to clean out our closets, but Covid won't let us be great. We found a way to have a yard sale while still being safe. We will be hosting an online yard sale from 09/12/2020-09/17/2020. There will be options for contactless pickup in two cities or shipping on some items. For more information please head to the Facebook Event Link
Move over peanut butter. There is a new nut butter in town.
With flavors like Sundried Basil, Turmeric Maple, and Truffle Herb you would be sure you are trying some form of dip or hummus. Nope. Those are the flavors of a nut butter. The company who produces these savory flavors is Humble Nut Butter.
Humble Nut Butter is a local business bringing you a vegan treat for your veggies, wraps, or crackers. It is sold on Amazon as well as at all Whole Foods locations in the Twin Cities.
We were a little skeptical of how these nut butters would taste because we have only had sweet flavors in the past. We were surprised at how much we did like them. Anton and I could not come to a consensus when ranking the flavors. My top two were Turmeric Maple and Truffle Herb. Anton's top two were Sundried Basil and Truffle Herb. The turmeric flavor reminded me of curry. I think it would be perfect on pancakes. It has the perfect amount of kick. Anton thinks the Sundried Basil could easily replace any hummus he has had. He thinks it would be best on crackers or a wrap sandwich.
Now that you heard our thoughts we would encourage you to support this Woman-owned business. If our review is not enough just remember that this company is vegan, gluten free and made with organic ingredients.
The lesson of the week is to continue to try new things. We have always been adventurous when it comes to food and we are happy this product did not disappoint. For more information please go to Humble Nut Butter Website

Business Spotlight- Giving It A Voice
We know people have been wondering, What is “Giving It
A Voice”?
We want to be careful not to limit how we serve by
using a bunch of titles. Instead, we would like to share with you the
background and vision.
We believe the things we go through in
life, the things we struggle with, but also overcome become a part of our
purpose. Our Founder, Detra Miller’s family moved to Minnesota when she was
two. As a little girl her passion was to help others and speak up for those who
could not speak up for themselves. Detra’s desire to connect her childhood
passion and to be more hands-on in the community inspired her mission to
empower others, to not only discover their voice, but use it to create change.
“Giving It A Voice” is an organization
that was created to empower people to break free from the bondage of silence,
discover their inner truths, and use their voice. We are dedicated to creating
platforms to help transform pain into purpose.
We are taking the initiative to help as many people as we can to
discover their truths, while upholding one rule that can't be broken; you are
SAFE to let your guards down and be vulnerable. We have to be on guard in the
world every day; in this space we do not gossip or tear each other down.
Programming will include, but not be limited
to, community workshops and annual retreats focusing on developing self-worth, accountability,
discovering identity, purpose, finding your voice, and how to positively impact
the world. We will be intentionally looking for opportunities to create events
and additional opportunities to address the needs of our community. Our desire
is to remain hands on and connected with those we directly serve so that as the
climate changes, and needs shift, so can we/we can as well.
We believe in unity and collaborating with other organizations in
this movement.
